Monthly AIRS User Group Meetings

Every month, we host several forums in person, on the web,and via conference call to allow all of our users the opportunity to ask questions and talk about issues they have encountered with using AIRS. For users of AIRS in the NYC area, they are welcome to attend our monthly user group meeting in NYC. Each month we meet to discuss issues concerning AIRS and try to help each other find solutions. Every meeting is attended by representatives from Defran Systems, Inc. and the AIDS Institute to answer users' concerns and questions directly.

The NYC group meets the 4th THURSDAY of every month at 10 AM

For our users from upstate agencies, we offer a monthly web based meeting using Microsoft Live Meeting. For those who are new to web based meetings, also known as webinars, this technology allows participants to view presentations on their own computers via the internet. The audio portion of the meeting is enabled via a conference call. The web meetings will formally begin in 2009.

The Upstate Webinar is on the 4th FRIDAY of everyone month at 10:30 AM

The HIV Prevention Division of the AIDS Institute also hosts a conference call every month specifically to address issues for users from New York State agencies with Prevention contracts.

The Prevention conference call is on the 2nd MONDAY of every month at10 AM

Agenda items for all these meetings are determined by contributions from users at each meeting. Occasionally, there will be special presentations, but user Q&A session will always be part of the meeting. Users do not need to register or RSVP. Just come with your questions about using AIRS and we will do our best to help you.

The AIRSNY Google Group

In addition to monthly user group meetings, we have set up a Google Group for all users of AIRS. AIDS Institute and Defran staff will use the Google Group to post announcements and answer any questions posted on the Google Group. If you wish to receive e-mail annoucements from the AIRS Google Group, please use the form below and subscribe. However, if you wish to post announcements or questions or replies to members of the group, we encourage you to join as a member. Just follow the link to the group and join. It is quick and easy.

Please note that our NYC group meets either at the Fashion Institute of Technology or at Cicatelli Associates. Unfortunately, we are not able to book the same space for the entire year. Please see the listing below for the exact location for each month.
